Depth Incremental UPD4, also called Update 4, went live on Roblox on October 31, 2026 and adds the final area of Section 1 to the pit. Core Loop's own event page for it calls the area huge and the hardest section by far. The developer has not published a changelog, so this page sticks to that announcement, the game's title tag and the update dates we can source.
What Depth Incremental UPD4 added
The developer's Roblox event for Update 4 was posted on October 27, 2026 and started on October 31 at 18:00 UTC. It says three things:
- UPD4 adds the huge final area of Section 1.
- It is the hardest section by far.
- It prepares an entirely new area that arrives in the following weeks.
The game's Roblox title now carries a skull emoji next to UPD4. Core Loop has not published new upgrades, fossils, bosses, balance changes or a step price table for the update, and we will add them when a source confirms them.
Depth Incremental Section 1 and its final area
The announcement describes the world as split into Sections and calls UPD4 the final area of Section 1. Our reading, not an official statement: Section 1 is now complete, and the new area UPD4 prepares comes next, possibly the same content as Depth Incremental UPD5 teases. Core Loop has not published how many layers exist or any layer or boss name, so we list none. The official game description only says each layer hides something new and dangerous and is guarded by a boss.

UPD3 and the Halloween emoji
The game's Roblox title carried a ghost emoji for UPD3 and now carries a skull for UPD4. UPD3 was live by October 28, 2026, when a Try Hard Guides page published that day already tagged the game UPD3. Ghosts and skulls fit a Halloween theme, but no guide, video or developer post we found says what either update added. We do not call Depth Incremental UPD4 a Halloween update, and we list no Halloween content.

Codes after UPD4
No new code came with UPD4 as of November 1, 2026. One code works, a permanent x1.2 Luck boost for Fossil Luck and Title Luck, and it is the same one sites listed before the update. We add a code to the Depth Incremental codes page once two sources list it. Code sites say Core Loop posts update news in its studio-wide server, listed on the Depth Incremental Discord page.

What is in Depth Incremental Update 4?
The final area of Section 1, which Core Loop calls the hardest section by far, and preparation for an entirely new area. Layer names, boss names and rewards are not published.
Is there a Depth Incremental Halloween update?
Not confirmed. The title tag changed from a ghost for UPD3 to a skull for UPD4, which fits Halloween, but Core Loop has not described any Halloween content.
Did Depth Incremental UPD4 add a new code?
Not as of November 1, 2026. The only working code is the permanent x1.2 Fossil Luck and Title Luck boost that was listed before the update.
